Wraslin' with the Lion OS
« on: May 03, 2012, 11:19:26 PM »

fellow TC Mac folk!
I decided as there are many workarounds not yet accomplished with most of our needed tools and the Lion support community, I am posting a preview for the movie makers as a start.
This particular movie was created by Tiger, and Version 5 Pro, not able to be viewed within Lion.

To find the Library for a clean install with Lion, here is a picture of locating the library.

Found an answer to a 'new' hassle:
If, when opening a DXF, and all the active layers are in place, yet there is no cursor/ pick window response, save the file, close the TC Mac, and reopen- all the picks will return to 'active' as preferences call.

I was getting lots of segmentation violations, and cover surface failures while using a poly arc (instead of lines). I found that the resolutions were not uniform, and that there was a disconnect of endpoints by.000038-.000049 ". enough to cause some hassles.
If you are getting odd failures, and using groups, follow this sequence to aid from failures.
1) Primary objects with same (super fine) resolution
2) group-medium is default- edit to superfine
3) (my work was offsetting, so:) Offset products, verify resolution to all same within edit object window
4) layout/ group as needed, edit to needed resolution
running! ;D

I did find that the final laser product (for my laser guy) need to be in poly arc, meaning that would be the last, instead of first step- what a quandry! :o
