Johnny,

Does it feel like the world has turned upside down on you? I mean as a machinist you take some material and remove the stuff you don't want, now you start with nothing and add what is needed. A good friend of mine had a dual head Bridgeport he used to make parts, no cad program, he just programmed in the steps by hand and let it run. It was accurate to .0001 and compensated for tool wear, Fascinating!

Enjoy

Mitch! Yeah kinda!- I remember all the bozos telling me you could never add material: So why do some fellas make big bucks with telescopic lenses and TIG torches on a Mold rebuild?? ;D Anyway, It's the work I can find to maintain employment! seems lately that I own the 2 biggest threats to industry right now ( even if I can't operate a Haas controller)= sobriety and itellect- even with dislexia during sheetmetal folds- but i never did claim to be a sheetmetal guy!
Yeah- I miss the Bridgeport days the most- not that the're gone- just that I'm "yoo Old! ;D I could maintain .003 on a sloppy day!

well gang I have some vid in the camera, the SD Card is formatted forFAT16/x3g(sample files. it took me a while to navigate the front page, and now after some email to support, i see all I need is adouble female usb connection, that way, the included cable which does a usb=firewire/ethernet type connection can talk directly to the maker. my first was the 2 color pendant,of which after i found both extruders to take and deliver matrial, the right one didn't print, so I reloaded and will be doing the dragon with egg in a bit- when preheat is done.

Fortunaley, I have a Lenovo, which worked out the move file from Mac via 'gig stick' then into Lenovo, and from Lenovo to SD Card. tommorow, a film with the IMSI emblem My first 'realjob" claimed 90 minute build, but was only1hr 10 minutes G Code is claiming a 4 hr build for Logo! 8) ;D
