Modifying the Geometry of Several Objects or Groups for TurboCAD Mac Deluxe

Hello,

If I have a few concentric circles I can select all of them and modify the location of their centers using the editor.  When I try this with a group of items (example: making my concentric circles into a group) and then try to modify the geometry all I get in the editor window are the attributes of the group.  What is the best way to re-position groups of objects?  I realize I can use the "translate" tool; however, I would like to be able to specify an origin by typing in coordinates.  In addition, if I use the "translate" tool for a group of objects I can only move using one of the corners.  Is it possible to add a point to this group, say at the center, and have the group move using this point?

Thanks,

Eric

Once the group of circles are created there will be a center point for the grouped object. Next select pick point tool and set a point by coordinates location in the drawing area. Once the point is set drag the group of circles and place the center of the circle on the point created.
