"Downgrade" from TCMac Pro 6 to Deluxe v8?

I have used TC for some years now (mainly 2D and very basic 3D) and about 4 years ago moved to Mac and upgraded to Pro 6. Everything goes better with Mac except TC ::) It has been traumatic adapting especially considering I have now retired and only need CAD drawings once every few months. The question is; are there big improvements in the general usability of Deluxe 8 compared to 6? Bearing in mind my rudimentary requirements, is it worth moving from Pro6 to Deluxe8, or should I just stick with Pro6? (I am not going to pay to upgrade to Pro8)

Hi Roy! Welcome to the forum!
The Engine of V 7-8 is all different from V 6, so If you've been getting good work done there, stick with it: I only had a few buss errors with some complex wing skins, which were mathematically challenging for the system If you get stuck on some of those scenarios, ask us for help, wer'e here! ( My Avatar was done on V 5- same as V6 engine.

You can download the free trial and see for yourself if it's a keeper.
