Thought I would share my current project. I am using attic trusses above the main living area and common trusses above the utility room and garage. End panels are above the end walls with lookouts supporting the flying rafters.

Thanks Darren, I tend to be a stickler for details.

I need to change the roof above the great room, kitchen, and dining area. I want to frame it for a cathedral ceiling to place a clerestories to provide some natural light.

Here is the change. Removed the attic trusses above the great room and kitchen and put in scissors trusses, the top cord is 6/12 and bottom cord is 3/12 and clerestory added.
