ProblemsAssigning Layer and Color to Symbols

When I drag a 2d symbol onto my drawing (in this case, a "blind tap") I can change the layer, but I haven't been able to change the color of the symbol to the color appropriate to that layer.  (In my personal set of CAD habits, every drawing has a layer named "hidden" which is always red.)

Can you tell me how to do this?  How to change the color of a symbol?

Thanks,

The object color is set in the Inspector -> Attributes tab. When an object is in a layer that has a set color the layer color has precedence over the object color and it should be displayed as the layer color. Symbols are brought in as group objects and it looks like there is a little bug here where the group color does not adopt the layer color. The fix here is to ungroup then re-group the symbol and it will then follow the layer color.

Thanks for finding that.
