Wowee Tim and team! I was doing some primary powerpack viewing, and the biggest (non)hassle I saw. was an eyepoint of a file opening that was in mm for sending to my makerbot as a stl file. Here's 16 minutes on my dropbox= leeping youtube out of the loop!

Nice vid Johnny, there is a new unfold tool and law tool added to the tool palette. The constraints are interesting to me, I'm taking a CAD course at UAF using Autodesk Inventor. This program is constraint happy and we will get into them deeply as the course continues, wish me luck.

I don't think that the power pack will be included with the release, it will remain an add-on package. Power Pack has been available for TC but Power Pack Pro has not, I hope pro will be offered for TC.

Enjoy

Thanks Mitch!
My story @ RC Groups, Is that I needed to find "laser kerf bending" for some wood bends, and this unroll tool iz "worth the price of admission"!
I was considering a new powerpack purchase for V10, so I'll take major advantage of this 30 day run! :D

Mitch is correct.  While the PowerPack is included in the Beta, It will remain as a Additional Plug-In when the product is released.

That iz just fine by me! I don't mind spending bux for quality, and now it's lookin like I can upgrade beyond Maverick for my "lack of trust"! :D

Not really a Powerpack, but it iz an obsevation:
I pulled inan 11X18 scan as PNG for double checking an elepse on a new bird: when I moved toTrimetric view to hide a few "above zero" parts, the cursor wanted to grab the high point for scaling. the first thing I noticed was that the picture 'dissappeared', yet the boundary was defined by the apexes and lines.here's some pics, I'm just a tiny bit over limit if we need the file= naah, I'll copy and dropbox it. Numbers after the pic title is dimension without the digit

One new obsevation: I'm noticing the 'tracing' lines when on a PNG, that the default seems to be "under" the PNG, with the edit>arrange, I can place to visible, but I do remember the basic line constructions being 'above' the PNG's. Transparency seems 'unlinked' also- V8, I could get that gorgeous ghost image! :D
