Hi everybody,
Last week I was working on a 28' X 20' building and getting very bad perspective results. So I talked with my coworker who uses Strata 3D CX and got some hints were to look in the program from him. I started entering different values into the Focal Length field and 1200 turned out to work great for my 28’W storefront.

Thank you Mark O!

After the FL is reset in a couple of views it handles the models much better in perspective. Nice results!
Most likely, the larger or wider the object, the higher the setting.

I use this process for setting up a view for rendering. All my modeling/editing is done using standard views,
Front, Side, Iso, etc.

1) Set up the angle you want to view your model from.
2) Hit the Perspective view button so you can estimate your Focal Length.
3) Go to View, View Properties to adjust the Focal Length.

The Building in the example is 26' x 39'.

Pictures:
1) Model lined up for Perspective View.
2) View with Perspective View applied from the View Tool bar.
3) View, View Properties dialog box.
4) Perspective results with a value of 1200 applied.
5) The final result, Nice Controlled Perspective.

Maybe a higher default setting in Preferences for Architectural could be an option in the future.
